Background
Mysuru, which was once known as the cultural center of Karnataka, is now ranked as the state’s second-largest software exporter. Over the first ten years of this century, the city has seen a lot of development in the IT and ITES sectors.
Nowadays, computers and related goods are found in our homes and play a big part in our lives and are no longer just found in Mysore’s commercial spaces and educational institutions. Due to the present situation, it becomes necessary for individuals to get well-versed in all aspects of information technology in order to take advantage of its numerous advantages and new business chances.
DEAL-iT, Dealers Association of Information Technology was formed sometime during 1997, it was formed to help and support IT hardware and software dealers in and around Mysore Dist.
DEALiT stood for want of a collective approach to hear and address the grievances of IT dealer’s fraternity to the government, since then DEALiT has been adding a few more purposes for society and community, DEALiT enabled and empowered members to take up community based projects, some of the noteworthy projects done so far were, MYSORE iT.COM – An extravaganza to show case the products and services available, E-ShuddaParisara – An education serial event to high-light the recycling of electronic waste in a sicientific manner, Adaptation of a Govt. Primary School to hand hold and support the school in all national festivals, family based outreach activities including sports and get togethers, Practical educational training camps for staff of Dealers and many more.
The primary purpose of our association is to bring together :he entire gamut of IT dealers under one umbrella, and build a strong and vibrant IT Hub for Mysore region. Mysore being the second largest city of Karnataka, emphasis to bring in the best working industry standards is given paramount importance.
